I am a wife, a mother, a Registered Nurse, and a community activist.
I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University, Middle Georgia College, and Ultimate Medical Academy. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I, also, enjoy visiting and picking fresh fruits and vegetables at many of Georgia’s
As a Registered Nurse of over 20 years, I care deeply about the welfare and wellbeing of everyone, especially the people of GA-District 10.
I entered politics for the same reason that I became a nurse, so that I can help people on a larger scale. In 2018, I took a leap of faith and ran for Congress. I won the Democratic Nomination becoming the first African American woman to win such a distinction since redistricting in 2010!
I considered waiting until my youngest child graduated from high school before running for public office again. But when I looked at the state of our world, mass incarceration of our youth, poverty, police violence, and intolerance of other cultures/races, I could not wait. I could not wait until another innocent person died at the hands of racism or another patient lost their life due to lack of access to healthcare. The future of our children depend on it!
I, again, answered the call to run for office. I won the 2020 Democratic Nomination for GA-District 10 U.S. House of Representatives. I am determined to make a better life and protect the voting rights of the people of GA-District 10. That’s why I will continue to run for Congress until We win!
I applaud you and respect your efforts in doing due diligence before making your selection to vote. We need your help and support. Please contact the Johnson-Green for Congress Campaign at email@example.com. Together, We really can bring about a Change in Our Community, Our State, and Our World!
Thank you and Have a Great Day!
- Tabitha Johnson-Green,
RN, ASN, BS, 2018 & 2020 Democratic Nominee
